The ground is sandy across Pinellas County, and summer rain comes down hard enough to find any weak spot in a base. That's true in Tarpon Springs and it's true in Saint Petersburg. What changes from one town to the next is how old the house is and how close it sits to the water. We look at both when we come out to measure.
We replace old driveways in Clearwater and Largo
If your house in Clearwater or Largo still has a cracked concrete driveway, those cracks hold dirt and weeds. They get wider every time a root pushes up or the ground settles, and patching them rarely lasts. We break out the old slab and grade the ground. Then we lay a paver driveway over a compacted base, so if a root lifts one corner later, we relay that section instead of starting over.

In Dunedin, Palm Harbor, East Lake, Safety Harbor and Tarpon Springs, we lay pool decks and patios behind the house as well as driveways out front. Pool water and sun work on the same deck every day. A deck that holds water turns slick and grows mildew in the joints. So we slope it for runoff, and we can seal it once the pavers are down. Travertine is one option we install next to concrete pavers, and we'll lay both out for you at the estimate.

South of Clearwater we do the same work, including pavers that have sunk or spread apart. The fix is almost always under them. We lift the pavers and rebuild the base, then relay them with fresh sand in the joints. After that we can pressure wash and seal the whole area so the repaired section doesn't stand out.
